Happy Mother’s Day!
To all mothers in this world…
I wish you a very happy and sunny Mother’s Day today! May you get lots of kisses and hugs from your children, a small note or card and lots of hugs or maybe a beautiful flower.

If you’re curious what I’m up to lately: I’ve been taking care a lot of my own son Jules, he’s been sick for almost 2 weeks now and he’s now in the hospital with me.
So I’m very sorry I didn’t post sooner, the poor little baby was sick for almost 2 weeks and it got worse last Friday. He couldn’t move his neck anymore, still had a high fever and I was worried sick.
Since Friday we’ve been staying at the hospital, where I sleep in Jules’ room to make sure he’s ok. He’s getting antibiotics to lower the swelling in his neck and some pain relief, because it hurts when he moves his head. It seems the glands in his neck are swollen and it could come from a viral infection. They’re still waiting for some blood results.
But today he’s feeling much better. He’s such a strong little fellow! I’m so proud of him that he’s doing better after 2 nights! Here’s Jules, playing inside his toy box…
And the doctor just checked his glands and according to the results she said he’s doing very well now. She even said we could go out of the room today! Yaaaaay! What a relief because the room I’m staying & sleeping in (that we weren’t allowed to go out with Jules) is super TINY!!
Anyway… the hospital is not the best place to be at Mother’s Day, but hey, I’m happy for the flowers I got from my sweet hubby! He offered to sleep here tonight, so I can go home and take some rest in my own bed… How sweet!
All I’m hoping and wishing for this day is that Jules will be better soon and that we can take him home soon!
You can also follow me at Instagram, where I’ll be posting pictures regularly (for family & friends).
Again: have fun this Mother’s Day! And I wanted to end with a beautiful Italian saying:
he who has a mother, never cries.
