My latest adventures and lovely finds…
Hello lovelies!
Sorry for being out of touch so much lately, it was super busy around here. What have I been up to? Jules started walking – finally! He refused to walk without a finger from mommy or daddy, but he didn’t realize he could perfectly walk around alone. He just had to make that click in his head. And so he did! Yaaaaaay for Jules!!
I was also missing the holiday feeling I had when we just got back from the south of France where I saw so many lovely things. Belgian weather lately hasn’t been all too good. Lots of cold and rainy days. I hate that. I’m more of a sunny person: I enjoy those summer days & warm evenings with a warm breeze which makes you want to stay up late to sit outside and enjoy a cool glass of wine…
But enough about the horrible weather! Look at how much gorgeous stuff these French little antique stores had to offer… {and at the back of this shop you had a stunning view!!}
{See? I told you the view was stunning!}
Maybe I also had a bit of a writer’s block… I hate it when everything gets stuck. Not that I didn’t have any ideas! There were just too many ideas in my head I didn’t even know where to start.
Uhhmmm… what else was I doing the past few weeks? Two weeks ago I’ve been eating my heart at the Zandfeesten, a big antique and flea market here in Bruges. For the lovers: there’s some pretty vintage stuff to find! Lots of junk too, so you have to keep your eyes wide open. I had my hands full with Jules, negotiating with people to get what I wanted and the stuff Bart and I were carrying so I had no chance to shoot some pictures on the market… But here are my vintage finds displayed at home.
I bought two lovely blue mason jars, all the way from Brimfield, Massachussets! I was looking to have one for so long and then I finally found it two weeks ago. How gorgeous does it look on my mantelpiece?
And here’s another bunch of other cute finds and decoration I’ve found the past few weeks…
