Oh my! Sukha Amsterdam… I’ve heard so much about this store that I would love to visit Amsterdam very soon! Have you heard of it before?
It is an amazing lifestyle concept store in Amsterdam where you can find anything, especially unique handmade products: from fashion, interior, accessories, gifts, books, travels to workshops and when you’re there, you can even take some time to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. Especially their poems printed on their tote bags, cards and everywhere in their shop, written by Jaap Langenberg, are so adorable.
I got so inspired by the poems and when I found out it is the day of poetry today, I just had to share some of the poems here!
As the old year goes, it’s always a time to take a moment and reflect on what the new year brings us. Time for New Year’s resolutions. I will be very honest with you: I’m not much good at keeping up with my resolutions. I had promised myself to be more organized in the new 2012, but I still am that chaotic person (in my head and in real life) today. Haha!
But I still want to be a more organized person than I was last year. More artistic, like I used to be when I was younger (so I have to kick my own butt and start drawing again, dancing again…) And I want to take my blog to the next level this year. So my personal plan is to take lessons, courses and just anything that will help me to get this little loving space of mine better, more special and cuter! I want to read, write, blog, share more with you sweeties. So that hopefully I can create a little business from this little blog of mine. And I hope we move house this year!
These quotes are really inspirational to me. I may have to print them out and hang them somewhere in my house where I can see them every single minute so I won’t forget my resolutions. That will keep me motivated for 2013!
Will you try something new this year to make your life more motivational, inspirational, special? Any resolutions you’d love to share with me?
Christmas stars are things I associate with Christmas. Unfortunately it’s raining for a couple of days already so you don’t get to see starry bright skies at night, but you can always get them shining in your homes, right? Here are a few of stars that may brighten up your day…
I remember my grandpa having an old caravan in the backyard where we loved to play in. It was an old camper, the kind that would be totally hot right now. Too bad he sold him when we were still young otherwise there would have been a camper at the back of my own yard now.
And maybe you remember I talked about my love for old caravans and campers a while ago (also here), and what lovely things you can do with them…
Today there’s the lovely shop Travelling Wares I wanted to show you. It’s a unique home wares shop in a little travelling caravan, owned by stylist Kara Rosenlund. You can look for the most beautiful vintage wares and “objets d’art” from far and wide, carefully selected by Kara herself. And the best part is, you can not only buy but also rent beautiful items from her store! Just take a look at her website for more inspiration.
