I am always showing you new, funky, glittery and sometimes spectacular or lovely home interiors. And I realized just today it has been a long while since I posted some pictures of my own home. The last tour showed you our bedroom and our little boy’s bedroom. So here are some new pictures of how I live with my little family. There are still many things I’d like to change {the chairs of our dining room!}, but this is how it looks right now. Hope you like it!
Our little hairy cutie pie Lilly is looking out of the window in search of the neighbours’ cat… or any intruders with wings. Haha!
Oh and before you think everything looks so spic & span in our home… Just look at what’s behind the corner in our living room. Exactly. Toys!!! But hey, don’t they say: a house becomes a home when you live in it with your loved ones? I totally agree. Ha!
Ik toon jullie altijd de nieuwste, leukste, kleurrijkste interieurs hier op mijn blogje. Maar eigenlijk is het al een hele tijd geleden dat ik nog eens wat foto’s had gepost van mijn eigen huisje. De laatste “tour de maison” toonde onze slaapkamer en die van onze kleine lieveling. Dus is het hoog tijd jullie nog eventjes te tonen hoe onze living er uit ziet. Er zijn nog heel wat dingen die ik graag zou willen veranderen {zoals onze eetkamer stoelen}, maar dit is hoe wij wonen nu. Hopelijk vinden jullie het leuk!
Enne… zoals je kan zien op de laatste foto hierboven: ook bij mij thuis ligt er achter een hoekje ook overal wel speelgoed rond te slingeren. Maar ik vind dat een huis pas een thuis wordt als er in wordt geleefd, met de mensen die je liefhebt!
In less than two weeks some couples will be celebrating Valentine’s Day. I always think it’s a great occasion to decorate your home again, after the holidays! So I started out with things I had laying around for a long time now and finally put them to use! Today has been a busy day for me, since I also got my hands dirty and finally started a little DIY-project that I wanted to start for like ever… But I’ll post more about that project later, promise!
I used some silver wired hearts that I bought somewhere on sale long time ago, some fishing thread and a big pair of scissors.
And I started hanging them in different heights in front of our window which looks out on to our garden. I love how it turned out… Simple but nice!
